Look one place to the right. 5 or more rounds up.

Round 26.167 to the nearest hundredth:26.17\text{Round }26.167\ \text{to the nearest hundredth}:\quad 26.17
Look at the thousandths digit: 7\text{Look at the thousandths digit: }75 or more rounds up; less than 5 stays
